WE WUZ ROBBED

Well I think we wur!...The way that scunner put Hutton on the deck must be a bulldozer driver, and how the feck the decision went Italy's way I'll never know. First minute goal.....AWNAW!..I looked up from the programme and BAM!. Anyhoo we came back blasting all guns but Italeeeee wer enjoying the game too. we had oor chances but the day was not to be on our side. The ref's decisions were disgraceful and that's praise. Good to see Ferguson get the goal but after aw the greetin....the campaign is done. NO SHAME. Lets get into the 2010 WC and show the B'stards what for...CUMMON YE SCOT'S

Strewth!! it just gets better.

This is getting just too much for ma liver...another great score that many would not have thought of, I just put on 2-1 and was once again suckered with a late blow. At least I had Kenny Miller for first goal. Met a bunch from Dumfrieshire way and shared a few swallies after the match, good conpany guys, enjoy the CD. The hawf time rendition of Runrig's 'Loch Lommond' was too slow and sounded awful, I hope they work on it in the studios. It should be good. Roll on next game (Georgia), I say 2-0 Scotland. Then................ITAAAAAAALLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Just bring then oan!!

He's done it again!

Well that's the cry from the commentator, and what did Charlie say??....'the baw must've moved'!....your feckin right it did boy, right o'er his heed & intay ra net. We were written off before this game aith punters saying we wouldn't, nay!, couldn't do it again. Well who's greetin in their beer now? Hahaha ya mug. And to those who bet against us...thanks for the support. Anyhoo, Wits all this crap about 1 ticket per member?, I always purchase two every game & now I'm told the second ticket is in a raffle. shocking, all they need to do is check back records on who bought what & give them their usual amount, then the punters who 'come when we're winnin''Ye only come when we're winnin' can scrap it out. his corporate thing does mahead in aswell. Lets hope we can get another seven points.

woooohoooo!

Smashin.....we went to this game with a wee bit of caution but needn't have worried, it was brill, as norm I had a few refreshments before going to the game and cadge a lift in a taxi to hampden. It was a shame to see Lithuania cheat so much and when the penalty was awarded I was so shocked I nearly paid my poll tax. But justice prevailed and we humped them 3-1 and I had Boyd for the first goal. Celebrations took place in the International bar afterwards then watched France & Italy bore out to a draw. Not going to Paris..cost too much..beers & telly wins it.

It just gets better..25/03/07

Well done big Eck, takes us up the ratings to 16th without kicking a ball and wins his first game as our manager. It may be true that most thought of a draw against Georgia but not I, 2-0 or 2-1 was the bet I had and will collect later as I go for a curer. Brilliant goal by Boyd, it's a shame Kenny Miller just can't get a goal. the chances we had were enough to get a better lead but as norm, we sit back and let them come at us in droves.Their goal was on the cards and we weren't surprised when it came. things went quiet in the second half and Beattie scored it was a load off our backs. Still enjoyed it though and thanks to the guys in front of us, they were bloody halarious. By the way, I also had Israel to draw with that mob down south. HAHA ya feckin beauty.

Jings NO AGAIN!!..12/01/07

I fail to understand why any manager would be willing to give up the management of his countries team for a club level job, I always thought that by managing your countries team you were at the pinacle of your career. AM I WRONG??.. Now , the es eff ayy were far too slow in offering him a job well beyond the end of the year but he could have seen us through the next two games at least then went to a club. Bring in big ECK, Tommy was part of the Berty era and failed to put presure on him or voice his oppinion so what would he be like as Scotland manager!!!...big Eck might be a bit tactic naive but his track record of achievements in a manager position proves his worth. He won more cups than Mr Oneil at Phead yet Oneil is classed as better!! even more baffling. Anyhoo, lets get on with it and get intea them.

 WOOOHOOO!.... 08/10/06

If you translate 'VA VA VOOM' into English then it becomes wan nil, or so I was told anyway. I must admit that the FRENCH took it well and didn't realy grumble. Ok, the ballboys might have been a wee bit slow but thats their way of celebrating. Caldwells goal came out of nothing in reality and sorted out the French disregard for us. The ref did us NO justice at all. Walters game plan of defending and trying for a goal on set pieces was excellent and worked brilliantly. Some of the play from the french team as excellent, passing was bang on and they could have scored if our boys were not so determined. If their 2 offside goals stood we were oot on our arses.  Thanks to those who bought our CD in the Beechwood bar.

YAFEKINBEAUTY 07/09/06

HAHAAAA! Whit a game, ma falsers near fell oot when the final whistle went. 6 points in first 2 games, magic. It was hard fought though, they liffo's didn't give us an easy joab. two stunning goals from Scotland and credit to them Liffo guys aswell, not seen a goal like that in years overhead stunner, I can see Coisty the noo saying 'Ah showed him how tay day that!!'. Bring on the FWENCHIES.

Stormer 05/09/06

Can't say I told you so cos I would be gloating. The decision to play at Cellik park was a joke. Outstanding performance but who were we playing?. great moral booster. Second half was a bit boring but three points on the board. Had a great time before and after the match but inside the park was a joke. the so called steward didn't have a clue, couldn't direct people to seats, wouldn't inform police of trouble of abuse. The large exit doors were open for fans coming in without checking tickets, Fans were still trying to gain access 30 minutes into the game, we were abused verbally by so called fans who attempted to rip our banner down and telling us "your no wanted here, this is little Ireland"...One lad had a drink thrown at him another was hit with a pie. What did the steward do???? Feck all. If thats the way they think and behave they can keep their stadium. I for one will not step foot back in the place. Great result Crap stadium.

Second class citizens(06/06/06)

Well they've done it again, Send oor national team out of our national stadium so a certain Mr Williams can chant. This guy will love it coz he's AW!!ENGERLISH. Why the hell should we move to Cellik park as they thought it more important to keep their players away from our national team. The ESS EFF AY have realy made an arse of this.

Good show!! (04/06/06)

Well done 'News 'o' ra wurld', weeks of getting that engerlund mob jammed doon oor necks they come out with 'Wembley wizards' the full game free. YA BEEAAUTEEE!!!. Now watchin' it for the second time today. To top it all 'Beckham' said it's alright for the Scots not to support them, and we are NOT racists either, after all he wouldn't support Scotland in any game now, would he!!!.

That other mob

Welldone Walter and any other true blooded Scot, Why should we support that mob when all they do is brag and boast about '66. I'm confused though!!!! is that the year 1066 when they were conquered and ruled by a King who didn't speak their lingo???, or could it be the '66 that they had a rather large fire in London?...anyhoo!, any Tartan Army guy or wummin will be in their element everytime they get gubbed, and they wull.

Scotland V The rest of the World

Just watched the 'charity' match last night and Scotlands old boys ran riot. They thumped Zola and his cronies 7-3, Hahaha!! great stuff and not a crap goal in sight, McCoist, McAllister & co should be in the most recent squad as they didn't even look tired as they went in at half time 6-0 up. OKAY!... it's only awee friendly charity match but it's still great too see. I hope The rest of the World hump that Ingerlund mob come Saturday. (28th May)

Kirin Cup

The whit??.. I hear you ask. Well it's just another turn around for the troops of Scotland and what a turnaround it is. This cup in Japan is by invitation only and I think we were there as a space filler. The three teams taking part, Japan (hosts), Bulgaria and Scotland respectively played each other once. NO team were full strenghth. Celtic decided it was more important to play in a useless testimonial,(in which they were beaten twice) rather than help your country. The result turned out for the better,We thrash Bulgaria 5-1 in our first game and drew with Japan. Japan lost to Bulgaria so Scotland lifted the cup as outright winners. The first thing weve lifted (apart from the odd kilt) in years. Two debutants score two goals each Burke and Boyd, Christ!!! they've got more goals for the national team than caps. ANYHOO...........bring them on.

Baltic

And so it was!!!, wit a shock it was!!! the weather & the game. Jings, crivens, help ma boab and all that stuff it wizny hawf cold. After two bovrils and a few jars I finaly realised we were playing the Swiss, I only wish the players realised the same, if it wizny for Kenny Miller it would have been a real REEEEEAAALLLLL shocker. Awrite, I know it was a 'Friendly' but they could have done a lot better for the support that urned up. As for the players who suddenly had wee niglin injuries that they didny want to agrivate, it's amazing that the cure arrives just after the international, and at least we bloody turned up. Nae wunner I take a drink.

The ratings

Great to see we are now climbing back up the ratings ladder, thats us now at 60. by the time we get back within the top ten I'll probably be in my 60's, anyhoo!!.....great stuff.

A big ZZZZZZZZZZ

Well that's the only way you can explain the USA game, first half wizny too bad, but the sleeping bags came out in the second half. I know it was 'only a friendly', but the result didn't do us any favours and it did help the yanks. We're looking at the world ratings here, A few years ago they couldn't kick their own arse never mind a baw!!!..... for feck sake!!.... they call te beautiful game 'SOCCER' and why do they call their game American football when 99% of the time they're running with an egg under their feckin arm??? Baffled!!!!.......Naw, am scunnered.

Thanks to all the punters in the Beechwood who bought the CD and put funding towards 'breast cancer'.

What a finnish!!!!

Couldn't ask for a better finnish, where in the world could you see three top class goals in one game?, The finnishing was top drawer stuff and not an old firm player in sight. We are out of the runing now but progress is there and that's what we want. Bring on the Yanks. Thaks to the lads (and lassies) from Aberdeen for good company, they arrived late because of roadworks and didn't swally as much as they would have liked too. Whilst awaiting a bus to Hampden I got fed up and started waving down supporters buses on the way there and managed to arrange a few lifts for them, then finaly got on one myself.

AW bugger!

Well thats us back to form again eh?, all set to book the trip to Germany and WALLOP!! same old stuff, I mean, what the hell was the game plan?, why was mr Miller up front on his tod?, why was there no subs in the second half?, why was Mr McCulloch on the left instead of up front?, thats 3 for starters. After the game and sharing a few jars there were many questions and NO answers. So as I said, thats us scunnered for at least a few years and start chasing the next finals. Once again...AW BUGGER.

HAHA!!!! ya stormer

WOW!!! what a rollercoaster month or two, build up to the Italy match at Hampden was marvelous and stood up to all expectations, pure electrifying stuff. The wait between Saturday and Wednesday was awful, They said we had no chance of gaining the four points we needed to get back in contention, and looking at the other results from Saturday (3rd Sept), Norway were bloody lucky. What more? We get the four [points, That mob doo sooth get gubbed one-nil by N.I. .......EXCELLENT. I also met a few punters in the bar before kick-off from Elgin, please get in touch with me.

Ticket winner:

Haha! ya stormer, I entered the competition on the SSC site and WON!!!, ya beauty, two tickets to the live & loud concert at Hampden. As you can tell by my reaction I don't normally win bugger all. Anyhoo, I gave them to my sons as they said I'm too auld for that type of thing, scunners.

Castlemilk CD.

The Castlemilk T.A. CD is now complete, after listening to hunners of songs I have selected the best, My heed wiz in turmoil with some of the stuff but the tablets did the biz and  a few wee hawfs soon cured the nippin inside the napper. So look at oor 'quize' page and see wits oan it. We give £1 to charity from every CD purchased.

11th June: So whit!!

Not being one to be saddened easily nowadays I thought we would beat Belarus. Well ?, scunnered again, but looking on the game (boringly) we have now made up 4 points from two games, Mr Smith did say that we were chasing seven from three so that makes us more than half way there. That'll do me nicely (the Noo).

5th June; Recovery

First of all I would like to thank the boys from 'Sons of Wallace' Aberdeen who purchased our Cd and helped our cancer research fund raising before the match, (lousy singers annaw)

Recovery is in a sense that I'm recovering and so is the National team. Some celebrations went on into the wee small hours and it's now taking it's toll. The teams recovery is one hell of a booster for the coming Belarus match. Both goals were finished off well and their seemed to be some fight in the whole squad though I don't know how Fergy got MOTM!!, I would have given it to young Hartley for his efforts. I don't understand why so many people were wearing Celtic tops to an international match???, is it because Mr Smith was once connected to Rangers?. Sad. On another point, why do women always annoy you when you wear a kilt?, I can stand the 'wit ye got under there son?' bit but was made very uncomfortable in the pub after the game when they think it's funny to grope you as you got to the bog, if we did that to them we would be done for molestation and the polis would be involved, so come on stupid women, don't do it. Thanks to those stupid ones who tried to ruin the day.

31st May: Bloody Socks.

Well then? it just had to be true, the new kit socks marked left and right. you couldn't make it up.  the makers say it's to help reconition of the markings, just more ammo against us for the numpties. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a n feckin Engerlishman who done it.

22nd May: 10.000 kits stolen.

Just read in the papers that 10.000 bits of the new kit were stolen from the back of a lorry. Either the Engerlish are going to have a large bonnie or they will be on sale in the markets at around £20 each. The papers say the new top will be selling at £45 bucks but I was told the official price was £32. Baffled?!!! so am I so I haven't bought one yet.

17th May: NEW KIT NOW ON SALE

New Scotland kit is now on sale and looks not too bad, been reliably informed that the tops will come in at £32 each. SSC members still get a discount when using your coupon, (and I don't mean yer face) which makes this a real bargain compared to 'club' tops.
